for Hazardous Areas
GAI-Tronics hazardous area SP2 stations are designed to provide safe and clear communications in hazardous areas, even in high-noise situations. Two types of stations are available, speaker amplifier stations and Handset speaker stations.
ATEX Zone 2
ATEX Zone 2 are the minimum safety requirement for workplaces and equipment used in explosive environments as per EU standards. GAI-Tronics SP2 Hazardous system conforms to these standards.
UL Divison 1
These models are NRTL certified in the following areas: Class I, Div. 1, Groups C and D; Class II, Div. 1,Groups E, F, and G; and Class III, Div. 1.

Outdoor handset station
Weatherproof handset speaker station with a metallic enclosure for outdoor use.
Outdoor speaker amplifier
SP2 speaker amplifiers are utilized within an SP2 system for powering speakers where handset intercom stations are not required.
Remote Desktop
SP2 Remote Desktop multi-party subset. Certified (CE) for safe areas, with black finish and 6 inch PVC handset cord.
Remote Flush mount
SP2 remote flush-mount multi-party Subset. Certified for UL safe areas, with orange finish and 6 inch hytrel handset cord.
Remote desk-edge
SP2 remote desk-edge multi-party subset, Certified for UL safe areas, with orange finish and 6 inch PVC handset cord.
Page Party Interface
Model 370-901 interfaces GAI-TRONICS SP2 stations to existing Page/Party® systems; includes six independent 33Ω to IP multicast conversion circuits, allowing a single unit to interface a page line, and up to five party lines.
